Sr. Cloud Architect - Full Time
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architect with strong Public Cloud experience (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure Cloud) and commendable Linux or Windows experience. This position will be a critical member of a Cloud Platform team working to solve real customer problems. This isn't your normal position where you may be relegated to one small piece of the company's technology or a project that doesn't matter. The candidate will be involved in the design and execution of cloud migration strategy, automating existing cloud workloads in the cloud, provide services to port existing workloads to leverage cloud benefits. The candidate will be part of the global cloud platform team to resolve technical issues and work with solutions architects on evolving business requirements while building best practices, with a focus on automation.
Required Skills:
8-14 years of experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles.
Deep expertise in one of the major Public Clouds (OCI, Azure, AWS or GCP).
Ability to quickly pick up multi-cloud skills in major Public Clouds (OCI, Azure, AWS or GCP).
Experience in managing and deploying cloud-based resources via declarative Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks like ARM, Terraform, Cloud Formation
Management of continuous integration servers like Jenkins, CircleCI
Experience with the commonly used managed services in cloud-native environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) with a working knowledge of their CLIs
Exposure to revision control source code repositories (Github, Gitlab or others).
Experience with source control, such as TFS,GIT, or Azure Repos, in a collaborative development environment
Proficient with Python (preferred) or Bash scripting to automate the provisioning of cloud resources and configurations.
Knowledge of configuration management tool like Ansible, Chef will be an advantage
Experience in designing & implementing cloud connectivity; Network peering/VPC, Cloud-to-Cloud, On-prem-to-cloud
Experience on Cloud components such as VNETS, VPC, VCN, etc, Network Security Groups, VPN gateways, Traffic Manager,Express Route, Direct Connect, FastConnect, Application Gateway, Functions, etc
Experience in managing network services including but not limited to; VPN, firewall, WAF, IPS, CDN, proxy, load balancing, and DNS,
Experience in CIDR, sub-netting, Transit Gateway, and Hub and Spoke models implementations
Engage with various customers in blueprinting workloads and migration to the cloud.
Collaborates with onsite architects to ensure the on-time delivery
Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both orally and in writing.
Deep knowledge and understanding of Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment.
Skills Preferred:
An Agile mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Excellent communication and documentation skills leveraging the Atlassian Stack (JIRA, Confluence).
An understanding of production environments, including the requirement for high availability and team-oriented 24x7 support capabilities
Experience building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure.
Prior success in automating a real-world production environment.
Knowledge of Cloud Provider Services such as AWS, GCP, Azure or OCI
Education Required:
Engineering or Technical Degrees (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/M.Sc./MCA)
5-8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience
